The micro:bit was released by the BBC in July 2016 and was designed to inspire a generation of 1 million UK school children to learn how to code. The device is perfect for the classroom; that’s why we’re offering the micro:bit club – a kit designed specifically for the classroom. It is an ideal kit for introducing students to the wonderful world of coding and hardware.
The BBC even provide easy to use code editors which can be used in class lessons. All you need to do is connect your micro:bit to your computer via USB, press the compile button in the editor, then drop the downloaded file directly onto your micro:bit. There is even an app for Android devices.
